The concert will feature Vidwans Vignesh Ishwar (vocal), L. Ramakrishnan (violin), Akshay Anantapadmanabhan (mrudangam) and K.V. Gopalakrishnan (kanjira). All the four artists are popular and sought after in their respective arts in Chennai and have each won best performance awards from the Music Academy, Madras and several other prestigious institutions of India in recent times. Vignesh is one of the leading disciples of T.M. Krishna and is known for his effortless singing and powerful presence on stage — getting packed audiences in all of his December music season concerts in 2016.
