Eight family members killed in execution-style shootings in Ohio

At least eight members of a family including a teenager have been killed in "execution-style killings" in rural Ohio. They were executed with a bullet to the head in four places near each other, Pike County Sheriff Charles Reader informed.

According to the   state's attorney general , the victims were "all adults except for a male juvenile". He was  16 years old. Al victims were of a single family. They violence may have been caused due to a  "domestic situation," a Pastor at the scene said.

Over a  dozen officials from several agencies were sent to crime scenes in Piketon, south of  Columbus. The officials gave no possible motive behind violence. No arrest have been made.

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said that, "Each one of the victims appears to have been executed, each one of the victims appears to have been shot in the head."

"The preliminary determination has been made that none of the individuals committed suicide," he added, saying the shooter or shooters "are still at large. We do not know their location."

Mr Reader said that, "There is a strong possibility that any individual involved in this is armed and incredibly dangerous."

"One mom was apparently killed in her bed with (the four-day-old child) right there," said Mr DeWine. "It's hard to believe."

Ohio Governor John Kasich and Republican presidential candidate tweeted  that the situation is "tragic beyond comprehension".
