Possible tornado reported in Celina, OH, at least 8 people injured

Celina, OH: Nov 5;
Severe storms battered the small city of Celina in mid-west, the north-western part of OH. At least 8 people are reported injured after the EF 1 category storm battered the area closing parts of highway and triggering rescue operations. The possible Sunday afternoon tornado was reported by the Mercer County, Ohio Emergency Management Director which was confirmed to the National Weather Service.

Strong and severe storms struck the city around 2:30 pm and  extensive damages are reported in the parts around. A funnel shaped cloud was seen heading to the city and various degrees of damages are reported in the homes around.

Power lines were down with over 2000 people without power and Celina City Schools are closed down for Monday. Damages are reported in areas of East Market Street, Livingston Street and Grand Lake Road.

There was a brief tornado warning issued for Clark and Madison counties, which were cancelled in 10 minutes and soon replaced by severe thunderstorm warning.
