Analysis

RRR Movie Review, Rating, Story, Cast and Crew

Positives:

NTR and Ram Charan: Their roles are well balanced and they took the film to the next level with their performances. They are powerfully presented and they did their job well.

Action blocks: All the action episodes are well designed and the blocks are well placed, executed.

The background score and Sound Design: Music played a crucial role and the sound design, background score are the highlights of the film. All the songs are shot and placed well.

Interval Episode: The interval episode is quite impressive and takes the first half to the next level.

Introduction Episodes: The introduction episodes of Ram Charan and NTR are well designed and powerfully presented. Both NTR and Ram Charan did justice for their roles.

Climax: The climax episode is shot well and is powerfully packed. NTR and Ram Charan take their revenge on the British.

Direction: Master storyteller SS Rajamouli does his job well and the way he presented the film has been top class. He is the major highlight of RRR.

Negatives:

Lengthy Second Half: The second half of RRR looks lengthy and some of the episodes look dragged.

Conflict Point: The real conflict point of the film was not well justified in the second half and the focus stood on the action episodes.

Routine: The second half of RRR looked routine.

Performance

NTR is the show stealer of RRR and the actor is loud and confident enough throughout. He roars loud with his performance and dominates the show completely. Ram Charan is a feast to watch and his transformation is gorgeous. The actor emoted well and he excelled in the action episodes. Alia Bhatt has a cameo and she looked simple, beautiful in the role. Ajay Devgn looks powerful in an extended cameo and carried the backstory of the film well. Olivia Morris was good and she did a great job in the role of Jenny. All the supporting actors did their parts well.

RRR has a lean plot that was developed well and executed with perfection. The screenplay in the second half should have been better and the dialogues are good. The music, background score and sound design are the biggest strengths of the film. The cinematography work in RRR stands out and the presentation was so good. The technical aspects and the VFX work are the other highlights of the film. The production values are grand. SS Rajamouli who happens to be the country's top director excels once again with his work.

Final Word

NTR and Ram Charan roar loud with their performances in RRR which is an emotional drama that is packed with action.
