Two Ohio children have died as their mother allegedly shot the children in their head. The two children, 8-year-old Khmorra and also 6-year-old Kaiden, died on Sunday night at the Dayton Children’s Hospital, according to the hospital spokeswoman. The two children were shot at a family’s Dayton home on 18th May.

The children’s 11-year-old sister was at the home but unharmed, and the children’s mother, Claudena M. Helton, aged 30, remains in the jail

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed that they had the bodies of both the Helton children, but officers would not release their times of death.

The children’s mother was arrested and also has been in the Montgomery County Jail since the shooting at about 10 a.m. on Thursday at their Dayton home.

Helton is scheduled to appear in the Dayton Municipal Court on Monday. She is charged with the two counts of attempted murder and also four counts of aggravated assault. When contacted the Dayton Police Department officials to find out whether the charges against her will be increased as now that the children have died.

Helton had faced the previous allegations involving children before the last week's shootings. In the March 2014, she was convicted of the disorderly conduct in Montgomery County Juvenile Court, as per the county prosecutor's office.

As at the time of the shootings, an investigation was open and also active against Helton by the Montgomery County Children Services.
