Authorities will hold a news conference Monday to give an update on the investigation into a deadly house explosion in East Cleveland.

One woman was killed and one man was critically injured in the Sunday explosion on East 125th Street near Forest Grove Avenue, police said. The explosion leveled one home and damaged several others.

East Cleveland police scheduled a news conference at 11 a.m. Monday to provide an update. Cleveland.com will cover the news conference on Facebook Live. The video has been added below.

Investigators arrested a person-of-interest in the explosion late Sunday, police said. Authorities have not said if the person is facing criminal charges.

The home that exploded was vacant at the time, police said.

Dominion Energy Ohio said in a statement that gas lines in the area were not damaged.

Multiple homes remained evacuated as crews inspected the scene Monday morning.
