The athletics department of the Ohio state is set to launch an effort to help the Flint residents, announced the Ohio state on Thursday. The residents of the Flint, Michigan are suffering from the water crisis.
The water drive is scheduled to begin on February 12, when the hockey team will play in Minnesota during the sporting event. The State of Ohio will accept the water donations at the Schottenstein Center.
There are three dates have been scheduled for the water donations. On February 12, when the Buckeyes play hockey in Minnesota, February 16, when, men's basketball team hosts Michigan and February 18, when the women's basketball team hosts Nebraska.
The water bottles, gallon jugs and the other large containers will be accepted for the donation. The water containers will be loaded into a football equipment truck in the northwest rotunda area of the arena.
