However, captain Gautam Gambhir took the responsibility and won the match for KKR.

SRH opening batsmen Warner, who scored 37 off 35 balls and Shikhar Dhawan, 11 off 13 balls failed to get the team to a good start. Dhawan hit a six off Umesh Yadav in the fifth over and SRH could muster only 30 runs in the power-play.

The second wicket partnership of Warner and Kane looked promising, the duo scored 50 in 45 balls. Bu SRH lost its run rate after both the batsmen left the crease. Yuvraj Singh could not get anything off his bat. Barring Vijay Shanker's 17-ball 22, there was no other noteworthy show in the middle-order, which unraveled in quick time.
