Ohio State University Partners with Apple to launch digital learning initiative

On Wednesday Ohio state university has announced that they are collaborating with Apple to launch digital learning initiative. This initiative will support educational innovation for students and economic developments for the community.
The Digital-flagship University represents major initiative under Ohio strategic plan, this initiative particularly focus on teaching and learning and also on research and creative expression.
Ohio State President Michael.V.Drake said that they are establishing this Digital Flagship University by combining talent and resources of the technology giant.
He also said that Students will have outstanding opportunities to develop modern mobile skills and with these skills, they will enhance in their workplace.
The Digital Flagship Initiative will launch during 2017-2018 academic year. They will open temporary ios design lab in 2018, they will be opening it in a permanent location in 2019.
Once students adopt these tools then the state will expand support to faculty to integrate technology into their courses.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said that “At Apple, we believe that technology has the power to transform the classrooms and empower students to learn in new and exciting ways”.
